Ospina Coffee Company

Ospina Coffee is the world's oldest family owned coffee company, established in Colombia by Don Mariano Ospina Rodriguez in 1835. Don Mariano Ospina Rodriguez was one of the pioneers of coffee growing in Colombia and Guatemala.

His grandson Don Mariano Ospina Perez was one of the founders of the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia. Five generations and more than 175 years of vast experience in the coffee industry have enabled the Company to produce the world's finest, most magnificent and extraordinary coffee.

Ospina Coffee only produces the rare and unique Arabica Typica coffee beans, grown in the rich and volcanic slopes of the Colombian Andes, at elevations between 5,000 and 7,000 feet above sea level, under the shade of undisturbed mountain tropical forest.

All products of Ospina Coffee Company are fair trade, organic, bird friendly and tropical forest cultivated. The coffee plantations where these amazing Arabica Typica coffee beans grow are protective of the natural environment and the forest, and especially friendly to birds and butterfly migration.
